We’ve been working on the new look for our site for the last week and are ready to launch it. Nothing splashy. It sure is an improvement over the site look and feel we had been using that we threw together back in July, 2010.
We’re really proud that we could incorporate the look and feel of the open window with the clouds passing by on our site, it means an awful lots to us. When my partner David and I met we both had a love for Kandinsky (still have a soft spot for his work actually) and John Irving’s Hotel New Hampshire – dating back to 1984. We were working on silkscreened calendars at the time and included “INSKY” in one part of the calendar and windows due to the John Irving admonishment to always pass by open windows. The ‘INSKY’ stuck with us over the years as we continued to do Limited Edition prints. And of course the open windows had us moving along.
When we launched our company back in 2005 we decided to continue the name forward – we were doing web sites and small production CD-Roms and on occasion some silkscreening, so Limited Editions still fit for us.
We have many changes coming in the next few weeks that we are both really excited about. We hope you will want to join us and follow us as we take on this new journey.
